HERE’S HOW OPPORTUNITY PORT WORKS

If you have been arrested or convicted of a criminal offense and it’s keeping you from getting a good job, follow these steps:

CREATE A PROFILE.   Get started in less than 5 minutes with our survey. We’ll guide you through each question.

CONNECT WITH AN ATTORNEY.  Once the survey is complete, our legal partners complete a formal application for submission to the court.

ATTEND A HEARING.   Upon filing, your application will be reviewed by the court and scheduled for a hearing where the judge will make a decision.

SEAL OR EXPUNGE YOUR RECORD.  If the judge grants your application, the court will complete the steps required by law to seal or expunge the record.
