Open Interviews 2/22/2021 -2/26/2021 at 7 Northeast Ohio Branches for Hundreds of Open Positions

Akron, Ohio— 2/17/21 — GreatWork Employment Services, a factory, warehouse, and office employment agency in Northeast Ohio, will host open interviews at all seven branches in Stark, Summit, Portage, Cuyahoga, Medina, and Tuscarawas Counties the last week of February from 10 AM. to 2 PM, with extended hours 2/22 until 3 PM and 2/24 from 1 to 6 PM.
“Even with the high unemployment levels, local employers are struggling to fill hundreds of openings. Our staff is highly motivated to help anyone who wants to transition into a new job that matches their needs and abilities,” said Tia Ramlow, President at GreatWork.
Due to the difficulty in finding new team members, many employers have raised pay rates, with hundreds of entry-level and skilled jobs paying from $12-18 per hour. “Northeast Ohio employers are desperate for reliable people who can learn quickly and work in all types of distribution, manufacturing, and office jobs. We are hiring people who want temporary-to-hire, direct hire, and even temporary jobs.” Said Mellissa Crew, Director of Operations.
Due to COVID-19, all applicants will have their temperatures taken with a temporal scanner before when entering the building. Face masks are required, social distancing rules will be enforced, and hand sanitizer and masks are available.
Because GreatWork is anticipating a large turnout at each location, job seekers may be asked to wait in their car for distancing and called in in the order of arrival. Job seekers will be allowed to fill out paperwork in their cars if there is a wait and may apply online any time at greatwork.cc if they are unable to make it to a branch during the job fair.
