Maintenance Mechanic Assistant

Responsibilities

• Assist maintenance technicians with repairs and maintenance tasks on various equipment and machinery.
• Conduct routine inspections of equipment to identify potential issues and ensure optimal operation.
• Help maintain inventory of maintenance supplies and tools needed for daily operations.
• Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot and resolve equipment malfunctions.
• Document maintenance activities and track work orders in the maintenance management system.
• Follow safety protocols and ensure that the work environment is clean and organized.
• Participate in training sessions to enhance technical skills and knowledge related to industrial maintenance.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or coursework in industrial maintenance is a plus.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
• Basic understanding of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment.
• Prior experience in a similar role or environment is preferred but not required.
• Willingness to work flexible hours and respond to emergency maintenance needs as they arise.
